About

I am happy to be able to make some of my life’s work as a filmmaker available here, in one place.

The trajectories of my films usually began with festival screenings,  followed by public television broadcasts, and then educational distribution.  People often ask where they can see my work once it’s passed from the broadcast limelight.  Until now it’s been difficult because of contracts with my wonderful distributor, Bullfrog Films, dedicated to environmental and social justice issues.  Bullfrog sold my documentary films on DVDs to libraries, universities, and non-profit organizations.  But times have changed.  Who still owns a DVD player?

Bullfrog has given permission to offer you my films that are still in its catalogue.  You’ll need to pay $.99 for those still in active distribution to dissuade Bullfrog’s clients from abandoning their commitments.

From my early student film,  A Meeting of Friends (1972) to The Restless Hungarian (2019) this site provides streaming access to eighteen films.

The BLOG section is devoted to posts about my current project, Keep On Moving Forward, The Story of Emma’s Revolution.

Posts about past work, especially The Restless Hungarian can still be found on restlesshungrian.com.
